Pink Water Lily and Round Blue Stone Post Earrings
Description
Hand-painted pink water lily post earrings adorned with a white crystal and a round light blue stone mounted in gold-plated brass with a plant-inspired design.
New collection in partnership with the Musée d'Orsay, inspired by Claude Monet's impressionist painting Water Lilies. These jewellery sets, with their deep blue, finely cut stones evoking the shimmering surface of a pond with a delicate water lily floating on it, transport us to the famous garden at Giverny.
Monet himself said that his most beautiful masterpiece was his garden. An
intertwining of ponds and plants harbouring mysteries that are constantly renewed
by the changing seasons. White water lilies and weeping willow branches sway to the
rhythm of the magic of his pond. A sight so majestic that it almost became his only
inspiration. A cycle of works spread over some thirty years, culminating in the Water
Lilies rooms, designed to give "The illusion of an endless whole, of a wave without
horizon and no shore". It's a whole world, transposed from reality to canvas and from
canvas to jewel, a fragment of these waves of inspiration into which we can plunge
again and again.

About Les Néréides
Our Expertise
Each piece of jewelry is born from a design straight from the imagination of the creators. As in fine jewelry, the pieces are “gouached”. The jewelry is then manufactured and subtly painted by hand using the enamelling technique. Each floral or animal detail is colored with a brush with great subtlety in the choice of colors. A meticulous task, where every detail is the result of the handwork of an artisan. Through this work on gesture, each piece is unique.
