This collection takes us back to the beachcombing days of our childhood, when every rock hid a treasure for our wide-eyed wonder. Inspired by family outings to the coves of northern Italy, these jewels are the product of a fertile and wonderful imagination that has been passed down from the Amaddeo children to their own children. The corals are a stage where the dance of scales and the iridescence of shells transform them into an underwater kingdom, every bit as enchanting as the heavens above. As their grandfather used to say, ‘if the stars only shine at night, it is because they reflect the dreams of those at the bottom of the sea, who dream of flying away when they are asleep’.
